And you can easily log into more than one WhatsApp account at the same time just by opening them in different WhatsApp Web browser windows. It's often easier to type using a real mouse and keyboard, for example, and you can keep WhatsApp on the screen, side by side with other windows to copy and paste information into chat messages. There are some significant advantages to using WhatsApp Web or the desktop app.
At the top of the window you can also start a new chat (including start a new group chat) and see starred messages. You can start an audio or video call, for example, mute notifications, block or report the user, and delete the chat. 
Click any contact icon to control your interactions with that user. Click your own account icon to change your profile details like display name and About message. WhatsApp offers other features on the computer as well: Take a look.WhatsApp web replicates the chat conversations from your mobile app. WhatApp Desktop doesn't provide anything new - it's really just a front end for WhatsApp Web - but the improved keyboard shortcuts and native desktop notifications do make for a better messaging experience. Nothing too revolutionary here, then, but there's still plenty to like: the app integrates properly with your operating system, launches when your system starts, displays native notifications, supports all the features you need - one-to-one and group chats, photo and video sharing, location sharing - and is generally simple and straightforward to use. Launch WhatsApp Desktop, scan the QR code it displays with your mobile (Settings > WhatsApp Web menu), and the program will automatically sync your contacts and settings.Ī few seconds later your current chats are displayed, and you're able to carry on the conversations as usual. 
This does at least make setup very easy, because there's almost nothing to do. You can't install the program just on a couple of PCs, for instance- it's purely an extension of your mobile app, a native version of WhatsApp Web. The desktop edition isn't designed to be used separately.
